Arun Christin Thariath is a Business Development Manager in Medical Technologies at the University of Leeds. With a background in biomedical engineering and strategic innovation, he supports translational research and industry engagement for the EPSRC-funded Place Based Impact Acceleration Account (PBIAA). Prior to joining the Yorkshire MedTech team, he spent 7 years in academia, facilitating academia–industry collaboration in Ireland and India. His work bridges research and innovation, enabling real-world healthcare solutions through strategic partnerships. Arun plays a key role in the team guiding business engagement and helping researchers connect with commercial partners to accelerate impact.
