Steph Oliver-Beech is a key member of the project’s delivery team, joining the University of Sheffield in June 2025 and working closely with the Yorkshire MedTech and Insigneo Institute teams. She brings extensive expertise and networks in the healthtech community to support the project’s wider aims.
Steph’s unique skill set blends science and project management, holding the APMP Project Management Qualification and bringing extensive experience in policy development, partnership working, and service delivery. Prior to joining Yorkshire MedTech, Steph led West Yorkshire’s first Healthtech Strategy, plus the successful £7.5m Innovate UK Launchpad bid and played a key role in securing the £160m West Yorkshire Investment Zone.
She holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick and maintains a strong interest in research developments.
