Professor Ruth Wilcox is principal investigator on the EPSRC Yorkshire MedTech Place Based Impact Acceleration Account.
Ruth is Director of the Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering and co-Director of HealthTech Leeds, a hub to bring together HealthTech research across the University of Leeds.
Her research interests lie in the development and testing of medical devices for musculoskeletal disorders using both experimental and computational methods.
Ruth has held fellowships and major grants from the EPSRC, Royal Academy of Engineering and European Research Council and sits on the Royal Academy of Engineering Healthcare Community of Interest panel.
